BREAKING: Dierks Bentley Announces New Band

Meet Hot Country Knights, a cover band devoted to 90’s country music.

Dierks-Bentley

The group  is made up of Bentley and the members of his real-life band. Dierks has taken on the alter ego of Douglas “Big Rhythm Doug” Douglason. Word is they will be performing an invite-only gig at The Stage in Nashville soon.

Recently, Bentley told People Magazine “I’m working on a little something something with my guys in the band. It’s a little side project – a little bit of a ’90s country cover band. We specialize in ’90s country, which was a great era in country music.”

Obviously, Dierks and the guys are having a little fun, but at the same time, there is some seriousness to it, as they will do some performances. Let’s hope the guys make an appearance during the setlist on the upcoming “Sounds of Summer” tour.

You gotta admit, Dierks ROCKS the mullet.

Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
