Brittany Aldean Doubles Down After Maren Morris’ “Insurrection Barbie” Comment With “Don’t Tread On Our Kids” Clothing Line

Incase you missed the country music world drama last week, let me give you a little run down.

Brittany Aldean, the wife of Jason Aldean, posted a video of her putting on makeup on Instagram, saying;

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life”

Although the post drew praise from the likes of RaeLynn, Lara Trump, the wife of Donald Trump’s son Eric, and a number of other beauty influencers, and Jason himself, a couple of country music artists went scorched earth over the post, calling it “transphobic.”

Cassadee Pope tweeted out:

“You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their ‘tomboy phase’ to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

And Maren Morris responded:

“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ons and zip it, insurrection Barbie.”

And long story short, Brittany and Jason both ended up responding to the “insurrection Barbie” comments, Candace Owens go involved, Ryan Hurd got involved, it was quite the public argument.

But now, Brittany is doubling down in the form of a new clothing line.

If you remember back to last fall, Brittany Aldean launched an “Anti-Biden” clothing line with shirts that read: “Anti-Biden Social Club,” “Impeach 46,” and “Hiden From Biden.”

She was criticized for using her young children to model the shirts, but praised by fellow Conservatives for the message.

And now, she’s back with another limited-edition, Barbie-inspired “Don’t Tread On Our Kids” line, with proceeds going to charity.

She posted to her Instagram:

“Per usual, my words have been taken out of context over the last week. Instead of getting twisted about the twisting of my words, I’ve chosen to bring some good out of it.

Through this launch we will be giving back to and supporting Operation Light Shine in effort to help fight child exploitation and human trafficking.

This sale ends Friday night!”

Needless to say, the move is inevitably gonna piss some people off, and at the same time… probably sell out in a matter of hours.
