As the weather begins to warm, and spring approaches, the drinking games will crawl out of hibernation.
Possum is one of those games, and yes, this is a real game.
Originating in New Zealand, (probably when Frodo was stuck in that tree) Possum is probably the simplest, and most fun, drinking game you can imagine. All that it requires is a few trees, a case or two of beer, and a little patience.
Here’s what to do:
Step 1: Climb a tree, get situated up there.
Step 2: Drink beer until someone falls out of the tree.
That’s it.
The last man standing, or sitting in the tree, is the winner. Hell, don’t wait for spring. Play this now while there’s snow to pad your fall.
