Alan Jackson Is Letting Fans Pick His Opening Acts On The Upcoming Tour

Alan Jackson’s a living legend in country music. Sure, the guy has more hits than most artists have songs. But one of the things that I like most about Alan is that he’s never been afraid to go to bat for traditional country music. From his protest in support of George Jones at the 1999 CMA Awards to calling out the record labels in “Murder on Music Row,” Alan’s always been a champion for artists who make real country music.

But for his latest tour, Alan’s going to be showcasing some brand new artists. And he’s letting his fans choose who they want to see opening for him.

Along with traditional country powerhouses William Michael Morgan and Randy Houser, Alan is going to be inviting artists from his very own bar, AJ’S Good Time Bar on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. Imagine one day you’re playing for tips in a bar on Broadway, and the next you’re opening an arena for one of the biggest names in country music.

For these new artists, opening for Alan Jackson has the potential to launch their career. Many of the artists that Alan has had open for him in the past have gone on to become superstars themselves – people like Brad Paisley, Chris Young and Jon Pardi.

Alan’s letting his fans choose who he brings with him on the road, and honestly, there’s not a bad choice in the bunch. With Alan Jackson leading the fight, the future of traditional country music is in good hands.

If you want to vote for your favorite, you can go to AJ’s Good Time Bar’s website and see all of the finalists. And don’t be surprised if you end up hearing the winners on the radio sooner rather than later.
