Jameson Rodgers Just Signed A Record Deal With Sony Nashville

Jameson Rodgers is a guy who’s been on repeat through my speakers for about the last year or so now.

He just signed a record deal with Sony Nashville, following in the footsteps of his tour mate and country music star, Luke Combs.

The Batesville, Mississippi, native grew up loving both music and baseball, earning himself a scholarship to play ball in college. During his college years, he found a true passion for writing songs and decided that was what he wanted to do with his life. Fast forward a few years later to 2014, he signed a publishing deal after moving to Nashville to pursue music. Eventually, he ended up having one of songs, “Wish You Were On It” recorded by Florida Georgia Line on their album Dig Your Roots, and also had a part in writing Chris Lane’s new hit, “I Don’t Know About You”.

In 2018, Jameson released a self-titled EP, which gained a lot of attention with the song “Some Girls,” earning over 3 million streams on Spotify. Later this month, he’s set to hit the road with Luke Combs and LANCO on the Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, where I think his popularity is only going to skyrocket.

This guy is super talented, and with a great voice and killer songwriting, and I’m willing to bet, he’s going to have a lot of new fans after this tour is over.
