Went deep into the vault for this one.
So, I randomly stumbled upon this video of a fresh-faced senior in high school named Gary Stanton performing a song he wrote called “Southern Boy Cure.” Gary and Charlie Muncaster, better known as Muscadine Bloodline, went on to record this song some six years later and release it as their first single back in 2016.
Pretty impressive to think that Gary wrote this song back in high school when he was only 18 years old. Kid was born to be a star.
I can’t wait to see Gary and Charlie out on the road this spring with Kip Moore.
In 2016 (6 years later) Muscadine Bloodline performed it together.
