You Can’t Touch Chris Stapleton’s Soul-Soaked Version Of “Feel So Bad”

Holy shit it’s a good day when you stumble upon a Chris Stapleton recording you’ve never heard before.

“Feel So Good” was originally written and recorded by Chuck Willis in 1953 and also recorded by Elvis, Otis Rush, Little Milton and among other blues, soul and R&B artists. For this tribute album to the legendary steel guitar player Buddy Emmons, Chris Stapleton recorded a killer version of the song featuring Steve Fishell and Roosevelt Collier.

Good luck trying to top that. You can’t.
