Jake Owen Wants You To Know What Is Most Important To Him, His Daughter

“She’s my life, and everything else comes second.”

If you’ve been following Jake Owen for a while, you know how much he values his relationship with his daughter, Pearl. The “Good Company” singer has been sharing his love for his 5-year-old a lot lately and we can’t get enough.

His most recent post reflects on how important his little girl is in his life…

“I’ve realized when I look at my pics I’ve posted, I’ve been putting up a lot of photos of my little girl,” he shares. “That’s because she’s what makes me proud. This is a platform where we can share “content” with the world, family, friends, and yeah… my fans. My life isn’t just pictures of me strumming a guitar or crowds with lighters in the air. She’s my life, and everything else comes second. That’s why I’m posting this photo. And oh yeah, I love my dog too.”

He makes a point to say that his life isn’t just him on stage strumming a guitar; his favorite occupation is being a dad.  Take a look at some of their most adorable moments as father and daughter…

Post show on the bus with my biggest, little fan. She tried to stay up for the whole show..

I've had some great birthdays, but yesterday was one of the best ever. I sometimes think.. Damn. I'm getting older. Just when that thought crosses my mind, I realize how my life is only getting better day by day. This little girl Pearl is the reason I wake up every day and TRY to be the best man I can be. Every day it's a challenge to be the best Dad I can be to her and make sure she knows that there isn't a song, a show, or anything that comes before her. Single Dad life isn't what I'd planned on, but I'm so lucky that I have this little girl to constantly remind me of my purpose on this earth. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I'm also so damn blessed to have the friends and family that surround me. Life is great at 36.
